Bunion(hallux valgus) surgery has the following aims:
Correct the deformity of the big toe and first metatarsal bone.
Relieve pain and pressure.
Improve function and make it easier to wear normal shoes.
Reduce the risk of long-term problems such as arthritis.
Morton’s neuroma surgery aims to remove or decompress the irritated nerve, reducing pain and improving daily function when conservative treatments have failed. Outcomes are excellent for most patients, with national registry data showing meaningful improvement in pain and walking ability within months.
Foot or ankle ganglions are common lumps that can rub in shoes, cause discomfort and sometimes return after aspiration. Surgery offers a simple solution to remove the ganglion and relieve symptoms when non-surgical care is no longer effective.

Lesser toe correction surgery treats painful deformities such as hammer toes, claw toes and mallet toes that cause discomfort and shoe problems. The procedure straightens the toes to improve comfort, function and footwear tolerance.
Big toe cheilectomy (bone spur excision) surgery treats hallux rigidus (big toe arthritis) by removing bone spurs to improve big toe motion and reduce pain when walking. It is ideal for early to moderate arthritis where preserving movement is a priority.

Big toe (1st MTP) fusion surgery relieves pain from advanced arthritis and restores function by permanently fusing the joint in a comfortable walking position. It is a reliable, long-lasting solution when conservative treatment is no longer effective.
Gastrocnemius release surgery helps relieve pain and improve ankle movement in patients with calf tightness affecting walking, running or everyday comfort. It is a safe and effective option when physiotherapy and stretching are no longer enough.

Haglund’s excision is a procedure used to treat painful bony prominence at the back of the heel that causes shoe irritation and Achilles discomfort. Surgery removes the source of pressure to improve comfort when walking and wearing footwear.
Persistent Achilles pain can make walking and exercise difficult despite physiotherapy. Achilles debridement removes the damaged part of the tendon to support healing and improve function when other treatments have failed.

Subtalar fusion surgery is used to treat painful arthritis or instability beneath the ankle that causes hindfoot pain and difficulty walking on uneven ground. By stabilising the joint, it relieves pain and improves walking comfort.

Ankle fusion (arthrodesis) is an effective surgical option for end-stage ankle arthritis that hasn’t improved with conservative care. It provides long-term pain relief and improved stability for everyday walking.

Hindfoot fusion surgery is used to treat severe arthritis, deformity or instability affecting the back of the foot. By permanently stabilising the affected joints, it relieves pain and improves walking comfort.

Removal of painful foot and ankle metalwork treats discomfort caused by prominent screws or plates after previous surgery. It improves comfort, footwear tolerance and activity once healing is confirmed.

Ingrown toenail surgery offers a reliable solution for painful or infected ingrown nails that keep recurring. It permanently removes the ingrown section to improve comfort and prevent future problems.

Rheumatoid forefoot reconstruction corrects forefoot deformity in rheumatoid arthritis to relieve pain and improve walking function. It restores alignment and reduces pressure points when non-surgical treatments no longer help.
Ankle arthroscopy is a keyhole surgical technique used to treat ankle pain, stiffness and cartilage problems. It is an effective option when non-surgical treatments have failed.

Ankle ligament reconstruction is an effective solution for chronic ankle instability and repeated sprains that don’t improve with physiotherapy. Surgery restores stability, improves function and supports safe return to sport.

Midfoot fusion surgery is used to treat painful arthritis or instability in the middle of the foot that affects walking and standing. By permanently stabilising the affected joints, it relieves pain and improves everyday function.

Flat feet can cause pain, fatigue and loss of stability when walking. Flat foot correction aims to restore the arch and improve comfort when non-surgical treatments are no longer effective.

Foot and ankle tendon repair surgery treats torn or damaged tendons (e.g. Achilles tendon) that cause pain, weakness or loss of function. Repairing the tendon can restore strength, stability and more comfortable movement.

A bunionette (tailor’s bunion) causes a painful bump on the outside of the foot that rubs in shoes. Surgical correction reduces the prominence and restores comfort when conservative measures fail.

A broken ankle can be painful and unstable, making it difficult to stand or walk. Ankle fracture fixation uses plates and screws to hold the bones in position while they heal, restoring strength and alignment.

Calcaneus fixation surgery treats displaced heel bone fractures by restoring alignment and joint surfaces. It helps improve long-term function and walking ability after injury.

Fractures of the talus can cause severe pain and difficulty walking. Surgical fixation stabilises the bone to support healing and protect ankle and hindfoot movement.

A midfoot fracture can cause pain, swelling and difficulty walking. Surgical fixation realigns and stabilises the bones to support healing and restore function.

Forefoot fracture fixation is surgery to treat broken bones in the front of the foot, including the metatarsals and toes. Fixation restores alignment and stability to support proper healing and walking.

Cartilage damage in the foot or ankle can make walking painful and limit activity. Cartilage reconstruction helps repair or restore the joint surface to improve comfort and function.
